# Embed and export

Three ways a finished video leaves Decodx.

## Embed

Every share has a chrome-free embed URL designed to be dropped into an `iframe` — no Decodx
navigation, no branding around it, just the player. It works on marketing pages, help centres,
in-product empty states, and anywhere else that accepts an iframe.

Embeds re-resolve the video on each load, so the link doesn't expire and updating the underlying
video updates every place it's embedded.

Player events are posted to the hosting page, so your own analytics can listen to them alongside
Decodx's.

## Export

Download `final.mp4` with captions and chapters, and the poster frame.

Use export when the destination isn't a web page — a slide deck, an LMS upload, a file someone asked
you to send.

## Publish to YouTube

Connect a YouTube account once and publish directly from Decodx, carrying the title, description
and chapters across.

## Exporting the written guide

The [document](/docs/documents) exports separately, so the written guide can go to a wiki or help
centre while the video goes somewhere else.
